Developing the Reds of tomorrow

Queensland Rugby has an extensive and carefully planned program for developing Future Reds.

It starts with the Junior Reds program, which focuses on developing and preparing players for the QAS Reds Academy and QR Reds.

The program offers a pathway for players via a talent identification program which selects players for invitation to Under 15 training camps and potential selection in Junior Reds Training Squads and the two Queensland Under 16 teams that play in the national championships, won in 2008 by Queensland Red.

The program works in close co-operation with the ARU's National Talent Squad in providing players with skills and physical development programs that build on their potential as players and as men.
