• The Caxton Cup

A new, round-by-round "Caxton Cup" challenge will be contested in Trinity Premier Rugby in 2008, producing a "title match" every weekend.

Previously contested by the two Queensland sides in the Mazda Australian Rugby Championship and before that by composite sides from north and south of the Brisbane River, the Caxton Cup is now being put up for challenge in each of the 18 competition rounds of Trinity Premier Rugby.

The 2008 winners are Sunnybank.
