Seven in Wallaroos
Seven members of the Queensland Women's team have been selected in the national side, the Wallaroos, with three of them also making the Australian 7s squad.
The selections took some of the pain from the Queensland team's 6-5 loss to defending champions Sydney in the final of the national titles, played at Palm Beach-Currumbin rugby club.
Selena Tranter scored the only try of the match and was rewarded for her good form with selection in both the Wallaroos and Sevens squad.
Queensland representatives are:
Wallaroos: Iliseva Batibasaga, Tasileta Bethell, Vanessa Bradley, Trisha Brown, Sarah Hind, Se'ei Sa'u, Selena Tranter
Australian 7's: Iliseva Batibasaga, Trisha Brown, Selena Tranter
The Wallaroos will play the NZ Black Ferns in Canberra on October 14.
The 7's Squad will travel to Samoa on July 25 and 26 to secure a spot for the iRB World Cup 7s in Dubai in 2009.
