Good seats for BaaBaa earlybirds

Thursday, 10 July 2008

Reserved seating for Sunday's Oaks Group Barbarians match at Ballymore meant there were good seats available by buying tickets in advance, QRU Chief Executive Ken Freer said.

Past Ballymore games have been all general admission but for this match seats in the stand can be reserved.

"We'll have tickets on sale at Ballymore from 10am on Sunday, with all ticket booths open from 1:15pm," Mr Freer said.

"But the best seats will go early, so if you're coming to the game avoid the queues and buy your tickets from a Ticketmaster outlet now or order your ticket for collection from a special pre-paid booth."

On-site parking will be limited, so patrons are urged to use the free buses provided and arrive early.

The match between a Queensland XV and an Australian Barbarians side kicks off at 3:30pm, preceded by a Trinity Premier Rugby curtain raiser between Sunnybank and Souths at 1:45pm.

General Admission can also be pre-purchased both for standing on the Hill (licensed) or seating in the Northern stand (unlicensed).
