Deans catches up with NTS coaches and players
ARU National Talent Squad coaches in Brisbane for this week's national Under 16 championships also had a chance to review their current program and coaching methods with Wallaby coach Robbie Deans and his coaching staff.
Deans, David Nucifora and Anthony Eddy travelled from Sydney on Saturday to join up with the coaches in camp at Nudgee College and participate in a skills-based session with several members of the Queensand NTS Squad.
ARU Elite Player Development Coach in Queensland, Chris Lane, said the get together enabled the NTS coaches to review their current program and ensure that the coaching methods practised are in line with Wallaby methods.
"It’s always good to get together and compare notes with the other states (ACT, NSW & WA) and this week's National Under 16 Championship at Nudgee has presented us with the perfect opportunity to both observe the playing talent on show and get together as coaches," said Lane.
