QRU Advanced Coach Education Courses & Player Clinics

Queensland Rugby Union (QRU) will be delivering Advanced Coaching Courses and Player Camps throughout the USA in 2010. 

The focus for these trips will be the following regions: Northern Carolina (Advanced Coach Seminar), Georgia (Advanced Coach Seminar), San Francisco - St Mary's College (Player Camp) and Arizona State University (Player Camp).

In San Francisco and Arizona QRU will be working with St Mary's College and Arizona State University.  The player camps will provide the players in the teams with the best standard of coaching and will ensure the team develops to the highest level. QRU are very excited about developing this opportunity and look forward to working with the Universities to become one of the best throughout USA Rugby.

In Georgia QRU will deliver an Advanced Coach Seminar on the16th & 17th January. This represents an exciting opportunity for all coaches to attend a two day camp and enjoy the further education opportunities that exist when you are linked to a respected organisation.  Both of these courses will be allocated 5 USA education credits. 

The Queensland Coach Education team has many years experience in coach education and program development and face issues very similar to those in the USA in relation to distance.

As the largest Sub Union (geographically) in the Southern Hemisphere, we have developed and implemented coach education programs that cater for differing standards and locations. We have also developed a system that allows us to overcome any distance-related hurdles and provide ongoing education to our coaches and referees.

If you attend a QRU Advanced Coach Education Camp you will receive far more than a quality two day camp.
